The Outwoods Edge Primary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in bringing our school community together and supporting the life of the school. Made up of parents, carers, family members and staff, the PTA works hard throughout the year to organise enjoyable events and raise valuable funds that directly benefit our pupils.
Our PTA organises a wide range of events across the school year, including popular favourites such as the Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre and school discos. These events are always well supported and provide children with fun, memorable experiences while helping to strengthen links between families, staff and the wider community. In addition to larger events, the PTA also arranges smaller activities and fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
The PTA also provides much‑appreciated support at school events by helping to organise and serve refreshments. Whether it’s a school performance, family event or celebration, their support helps to make these occasions welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
All funds raised by the PTA are used to enrich school life and provide additional resources, experiences or opportunities for the children at Outwoods Edge Primary School. The PTA works closely with school leaders to ensure that fundraising supports areas that have a positive impact on pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
We warmly welcome new members and volunteers. You don’t need to commit to every event — any time, ideas or support you can offer are always appreciated. Getting involved with the PTA is a wonderful way to meet other parents and carers, support the school and make a real difference to our children’s experiences.
If you would like to get involved or find out more about upcoming events, please keep an eye on school communications or email parents@outwoods.bepschools.org
Together, our PTA helps make Outwoods Edge Primary School a vibrant, supportive and welcoming community for all.
